Ogi Packaging

We were given the task of going to an antique shop, finding an item, and creating packaging
that would add value to the chosen item. For this project, I decided to create packaging for
two Japanese fans. My goal for this product was to come up with a package that was not only beautiful, but displayed the fans in a unique way. I created my package in such a way that the sides flipped open and revealed the fan that was inside. I created my own dieline for the project, navigating how to make my idea actually work took a lot of prototypes and experimentation,
which was such a fun way to explore the possibilities of packaging design.
